ABSTRACT
This paper explains one of the processes (colmation) occurring during the interaction between the groundwater and surface water. Apart from the definition and type of colmation, the evolution of colmation as well as the influential factors are presented here through the review of research of this phenomena. The practical value of colmation is presented at the end. Finally is explained practice signification of colmation.
