Abstract: International society has the ultimate capacity to enable all societies to promote the ever-increasing well-being of themselves and their members. Morality is discontinuous between the domestic and international spheres. Law is the progression of legal ideas in the social world which mediates between the social forces which generate the law and the social events which the law generates.
